Another three dives today, over 3 hours of bottom time equals exhaustion at the end of the day. Another great day for seeing ocean critters. Turtles ,cuttlefish, moray eel were standouts, plus clouds of 100’s of little fish to swim through. Amazing. A new experience. An explosion like we have never heard before while we were down 60 feet. One of our team thought someone’s air tank blew up. (that is fatal). Turned out to be dynamite the locals were using to kill fish. Very scary, our guide said it wasn’t too far away! Below is one of the biggest turtles we have every seen. Like a small car!
One more day of diving, they saved the best—Sipadan itself. We have been diving Mabul Island, great diving, but Sipadan is limited to 150 people per day, very protected. Everyone who has gone raves about it.
